Environmental and Energy Lessons from a World Somewhere Near the EarthWe'll address the systems engineering of the International Space Station, and the imperative we have to recycle and to conserve in maintaining an engineered, balanced environment. ISS is a model of the coming zero-footprint buildings and green villages of the next century. We’ll explore the solar power and gas and water recycling techniques used on ISS, and show some innovative and game-changing sustainable technologies developed by Johnson Space Center engineers that are being widely deployed in the developing world.
